A heavy-duty starting platform, The Bighorn is designed for competition. It comes in two designs, standard and long reach. The standard Bighorn accommodates the standard swimming pool, while the long reach suits competitive pools with rollout gutter configurations. The platform is 22 inches long by 24 inches wide and manufactured from a single piece of U.V. stabilized high-density polyethylene, providing a molded-in, non-slip surface for fast starts. A ridged, 24 inch backstroke bar is provided, the steps are molded with non-slip polyethylene, and the stainless steel platform frame itself is electro-polished and passivated for maximum corrosion resistance. Deflection is avoided through combining a unique buttress component and a two-point anchor system. Each platform is marked clearly with large, contrasting numbers, and comes with a starting platform cover to warn the unauthorized user to "Danger Keep Off." Even the colors shine on the Bighorn -- although the standard color is white, vivid colors like red, blue, yellow, forest green, and black are also available. The Bighorn meets FINA, NCAA, NFSHSA, and USS competition pool Rules and Regulations. Anchors sold separately. Field measurements required.
