The BECSys Feed-Through Flow Cell assures optimal performance of BECSys controllers.
The clear acrylic cover, along with the high-visibility white Teflon material used in the flow cell body, promotes easy inspection of sensor tips in the installed configuration.
The feed-through design assures that water flows past the sensors in a first-in, first-out fashion. This guarantees that sensor readings are optimally responsive to the water being monitored.
This design features a vertical alignment of the sensors, which promotes long probe life by allowing gravity to force the internal gel directly towards the sensing tip.
Features
• High-visibility sensing chamber
• Optimal vertical mounting of pH and ORP sensors
• Feed-through design guarantees optimal sensor responsiveness
• Complete kit includes pressure gauge, isolation valves, sample tap, flow switch, and PVC connections
sensors are based upon a proprietary design, which
provides an accurate and reliable measurement of the pH level of
the water being controlled.
Sensors are housed in a rugged ABS body with ½” NPT process
connections. Each sensor contains 32 ml of inorganic electrolyte gel
to assure extended sensor life. The inorganic gel is specifically
formulated to resist breakdown in the presence of strong oxidants.
The BECSys pH
sensor has a porous Teflon liquid junction to
provide a stable, low impedance reference contact, which prevents
fouling and clogging, and utilizes a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl)
reference element as well as in the connection to the glass sensing
element.
The sensing element is comprised of a general purpose glass
membrane. The BECSys pH sensor comes with a 2-year
manufacturer’s warranty.
Features
- 0.0 to 14.0 sensing range
- ABS body with ½” NPT process connection
- 32 milliliters inorganic electrolyte gel
- porous Teflon liquid junction
- silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference element
- general purpose glass membrane sensing element
- operating temperature range of -5 to 80 degrees C

BECSys ORP
sensors provide a reading of Oxidation-
Reduction Potential of the water being controlled. The
proprietary design delivers a reliable and accurate measure of
relative sanitizer levels.
Sensors are housed in a rugged ABS body with ½” NPT
process connections. Each sensor contains 32 ml of inorganic
electrolyte gel to assure extended sensor life. The inorganic gel
is specifically formulated to resist breakdown in the presence of
strong oxidants.
The ORP
sensors have a porous Teflon liquid junction to
provide a stable, low impedance reference contact, which
prevents fouling and clogging, and utilize a silver/silver chloride
(Ag/AgCl) reference element.
The sensing element is comprised of a solid noble metal
(platinum or gold). This solid metal band sensing element has a
distinct advantage in that it is not susceptible to abrasives. In
contrast, a plated substrate can be worn off over time through
overly aggressive cleaning procedures.
BECSys ORP
sensors come with a 2-year manufacturer’s
warranty.
