On October 1, 2008 Aquatic Environmental Systems will celebrate its 25th anniversary as the resource for swimming pool professionals in the southwest. From a desk and a telephone in a walk-in closet twenty five years ago, we have grown into over 6,000 square feet of space, eleven employees, and five service vehicles. This growth has enabled us to better serve the many friends we have made in our last twenty five years.

My first two years I spent a lot of my time with a signal generator in one hand and a tiny screwdriver in the other visiting the Strantrol's in our area with Kent Williams (founder of the PPOA), making sure that they were all working properly. At the same time, I was handling a line of water and wastewater systems. In a typical week I would be starting up a sewage treatment system at the 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant one day, and calibrating a Strantrol at a swimming pool the next. Over the years we added more swimming pool lines and I discovered that pool water was more pleasant smelling than wastewater, and directed most of our energies to the Aquatics side of the business.

While over the years we have earned many awards as a top performer from our suppliers, the most appreciated honor is the loyalty that we are blessed with from our friends in Aquatics. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our service so that we can continue to be deserving of the trust that our friends have bestowed upon us. We would like to be partners with professional pool operators, helping to ensure that pools are safe, fun and easy to operate.
